« 8 Big Lies About Salvation and the Christian Life | Main | "The Lecture" by Magician James Piper »

Hey Don, I enjoy your stuff. Even mention you occasionally on my Apologetics blog. Check it out if you have time:

I wonder if it has more to do with the fact that there's a common perception that 'factual' Christianity has been discredited - after all, people like Dawkins, Harris and Hitchens are massively popular figures now, whereas the Christian 'equivalents' remain largely marginalised (at least that's my impression from the UK!).

Christianity has become a 'soft' faith, catering for people's inner emotional needs and spiritual desires (imagined or otherwise), but as it's no longer the only game in town, the competition is mighty stiff.

Until Christianity can make itself genuinely relevant, and ground itself in some kind of defensible factual claim, it will continue to decline in the West.

Good grief, it's quiet around here these days!!!
