Awesome analysis!

If Holmes cannot see the obvious,The bible clearly says that marriage is between a man and woman by the use of the words her and man , the scriptures are numerous, but if he wants a clear idea of how God feels about same sex marriages he should check Romans 1: verses 24-27 or Genesis 13:13 and also Genesis chapter 19, especially verse 24. It is written in Matthew 13:13 because seeing they see not and hearing they hear not. This senator seem to be a prime example of this. I personally don"t think God would like us to wager but to use this as a way to testify

I don't believe you can make a wager on what the Bible teaches unless you have certain premises in place:
The Bible (Scripture) is the inspired Word of God (God-breathed). The Bible is intended by God to show his people (who are tainted by original sin)the way He would like to have them live. (His commands all through Scripture) We all need a Saviour (Jesus Christ) who was sent into this world and who paid the complete price for all the sin in this world. When one realizes how infinite the price that was paid on the cross--then it behooves that person to take God seriously when he gives us guidelines that He knows are in our best interest
